The Real Ghostbusters Music & Effects CDs and Spook Central Multimedia Update

Eleven years ago, Time Life released The Real Ghostbusters: Complete Collection. Since it's been out-of-print for almost half as long, I figured that it was finally time to add the exclusive content from it to Spook Central.

Let me start with a list of what's been updated here on Spook Central.

• RGB Halloween Door - Added Instrumental versions of both songs, and new 320kbps copies of the original two.
• RGB Scripts - Added the scripts for: First Season Bible; Syndication Series Bible; Apocalypse -- What; NOW?; Banshee Bake a Cherry Pie?; The Cabinet of Calamari; The Collect Call Of Cathulhu; Deadcon-I; A Fright at the Opera; Ghostfight at the O.K. Corral,A Ghost Grows in Brooklyn; Knock; Knock; Last Train to Oblivion; The Long, Long, Long, Etc. Goodbye; The Scaring of the Green; Slimer, Come Home; Slimer Streak; The Spirit of Aunt Lois.
• Slimer Scripts - Added the scripts for: Doctor Dweeb, I Presume; Don't Tease The Sleaze; QuickSlimer Messenger Service; Rainy Day Slimer.
• RGB Storyboards - Added all of the storyboard PDFs.
• RGB Pilot - Updated the VHS Sourced and Blockbuster Promo video files. Added the Visual Commentary video file and all of the storyboard PDFs (on the Images tab).
• RGB TimeLife DVD Set - Add a more complete list of defects, with supportive images and video; added all of the commercials in the Multimedia section.
• RGB TimeLife DVD Set: Featurettes - Added video of all featurettes.
• RGB Multimedia - Added textless end credits video. Also all music MP3s at the bottom.
• RGB TimeLife DVD Set: Still Images - Added ALL of the still images.
• RGB TimeLife DVD Set: Interviews - Added all Extended Interviews videos.
• RGB TimeLife DVD Set: Episode Introductions - Added all Episode Introduction videos.
• RGB TimeLife DVD Set: Visual Commentaries - Add all Visual Commentary videos. The Patreon-exclusive links will be active, in order, every Friday for the next several months. So, if it comes up as a 404 error now, wait a few weeks and try again.

• RGB Alternate Episodes - Added new alternates for Lights! Camera! Haunting!, Play Them Ragtime Boos, and Don't Forget The Motor City. Updated the No Bridge video and stills for "Attack Of The B-Movie Monsters", the Series and Tahiti videos for "The Bird Of Kildarby", the Series and Tahiti videos for "A Fright At The Opera", the Series Music video for "Knock Knock", the Final Version video for "Short Stuff", and the Series Music video for "Venkman's Ghost Repellers". I believe that now all Fox Family Channel multimedia on the site has been replaced. It only took 20 years.

Beside the complete music & effects audio tracks, I also have created a separate set of files which I trimmed down to remove all of the "silence", as much of the sound effects as possible, and the theme song and bumper music (which is stored separately). This differs from fan-created "score albums" in that it is based on the episodes, and retains all of the music contained therein, including repeated cues. The end result is a Music & Effects track for each episode that provides a much better listening experience than the original tracks. This set of files have also been named with the intention of being burned onto a set of SIX Audio CDs (using 80-minute CD-Rs). They are organized into an ideal order that still retains the show order and uses beginning and ending themes, title card music, and bumper music at appropriate places.
