There are three distinct releases of this Blu-ray. There's an individual release of each film, a double feature set containing both films packaged inside a 27-page book (called a "Digibook"), and then there's a deluxe double feature set containing the two-film Digibook bundled with a Slimer statue. For the first print run (at least), the individual releases each had an embossed glossy slipsleeve. A pre-printed "Personal Note From Ivan Reitman" was included with all releases; at least for the first print run.

- Fake Theatrical Trailer
They used the trailer audio and replaced the video with footage from the movie. Since Peter's "I'm the chairman of the largest paranormal removal company in America" line was from a deleted scene, Sony had to substitute other footage for it, which is the most telling giveaway that this is fake. Sony also flipped the "Dana looking at camera" shot; and after "Smoking!", an unused(?) crowd shot is replaced with a different crowd shot and a Gozer close-up. That the look of the trailer matches the "remastered" movie is the other big giveaway that this is fake. A comparison video can be found on the Spook Central Patreon page. The original can be found in its most complete and proper form on the Criterion Collection laserdisc, but can also be found without the "coming soon to a theatre near you" end card on the GB2 1999 DVD (letterbox) and the GB1 1999 DVD (fullscreen). - Most of the Special Features from the 2009 Blu-Ray (see below for what's missing)
- Most of the Special Features from the 1999 DVD (see below for what's missing)
- The Story of Ghostbusters 1 & 2 Book (double feature sets only)

Notes
- The before and after special effects multi-angle comparison item named "Spook Central Exploding" should have been named "Firehouse Exploding". This error carries over from the original 1999 DVD, and was present on the 2005 DVD, the 2009 Blu-ray, and now this 2014 Blu-ray. It's a shame that no one noticed it and corrected it by now.
- At 42:35 Ray says, "welcome aboard", and his voice warbles on the word "aboard". I thought this was a defect new to this release, but it's actually a defect in the film, as it's also heard in the 1999 DVD. For some reason, it's just more noticible in this Blu-ray release.
Gallery 1988 Gallery - Titles & Artists
The gallery included on the Blu-ray leaves out the name of the art pieces and the artists who created them. That information was provided on Ghostbusters30th.com, and is being included below so that it's still available after that site is taken down (at the time of the Blu-ray release, two pieces were already removed from the site) . Although I consider these works to be fan art, they are officially licensed. On that website, they are referred to as The Official Ghostbusters 30th Anniversary Commemorative Print Collection.
