Title Reference: Simply referring to the plot point of there being a mouse in the firehouse.
There are technically two versions of this episode, although only the title screen is different. In one it's "A Mouse In The House" and in the other it's "Mouse In The House". The Real Ghostbusters: Complete Collection DVD box set contains both versions.
The voice actors were recorded on June 1, 1988.
