[ SYNOPSIS ]
The series follows Captain Pike (Anson Mount), Science Officer Spock (Ethan Peck), and Number One (Rebecca Romijn) in the years before Captain Kirk boarded the U.S.S. Enterprise, as they explore new worlds around the galaxy.

The three-disc set includes all 10 episodes of the season that aired on the Paramount+ streaming service from May 5th to July 7th 2022.

- World Building (11:56) - Led by Production Designer Jonathan Lee and his team, the season's production design utilized cutting-edge technology to create worlds prior to shoots, allowing the actors to fully immerse themselves into scenes rather than imagine the worlds around them in a green room. Through interviews with producers, cast and crew, fans will learn about the expertise involved in the development process and how the powerful technology was seamlessly integrated into the show.

Star Trek: Strange New Worlds: Season 1 is available right now on Blu-ray, Blu-ray (Steelbook packaging), and DVD. A 4K UHD release is slated for May 16, 2023. The series is highly recommended to fans of the original Star Trek series.
