“Fiery Fiend”
Two elemental spirits are running amok in the city, setting fire to buildings and then putting them out. The Ghostbusters find themselves with their hands full as the ghosts are just a little too quick for them. Unless they can figure out a way to stop both of them at once, they’ll have a choice of either death by drowning or a severe hotfoot!
“Spengler’s Spirit Guide” Part 40
Elementally, my dear Watson.
“Spirit Plane!”
Ray answers a call to deal with a WWII fighter plane piloted by a ghost firing ectoplasm at Farnum Bailey’s Air Emporium. Unfortunatley, his having wings make the ghost difficult to bust, until Captain Fulton offers Ray a ride. Strapping in the duo take off after the other plane just before Ray finds out his pilot is a ghost as well!
“Dead True!”
A monstrous glowing maggot was seen in a Yorkshire cemetery and three residents of the town followed it nightly, discovering that in the houses it visited, the occupants were dead by morning!
“Silver Scream!”
The Ghostbusters’ night out at the movies gets cut short when images from the celluloid come to life as mutated creatures!
“Blimey! It’s Slimer!”
Slimer experiences what the wild west has to offer.

FYI: This issue shares its cover with NOW’s Real Ghostbusters vol. 1 #22.

FYI: “Fiery Fiend”
The Water Spirit bares a resemblance to the H2Ghost figure from the toy line. However, while both squirt water, the toy was able to split into two ghosts.
FYI: “Fiery Fiend”
Page 4 – PETER: “Nobody sets fire to a warehouse in my town!”
An obvious play on Peter’s line from the first movie after Mr. Stay Puft stepped on the church: “Nobody steps on a church in my town!”
FYI: “Spirit Plane!”
The planes mentioned in the story are a World War I tri-plane, Spitfire, Lockheed P-38, Bristol F.2B & Sopwith.

|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
FYI: “Silver Scream!”
Judging by the poster and the following screens, “Bruce, the 100 Foot Baboon” is obviously a parody of King Kong.

FYI: “Silver Scream!”
The Ghostbusters go to the Roxy Cinema. In New York, there was a Roxy Theater which was a preeminent movie palace from 1927-1960. It was demolished in 1961.
